Abstract Sustainable stingray stock catches and increasing the potential that these fish populations may become overfished this have a negative impact on size of stocks. In order to estimate models prospective resources stingrays in seas Malacca Strait, descriptive technique was utilized collect secondary data. The necessary conduct dynamics research examines exploitation rate stingrays. Based Schaefer model, obtained value sustainable (MSY) for Stingray ( Dasyatis sp.) at Tanjung Beringin fishing port 37,24625 tons/year optimum effort 148,6119 trips/ years. percentage resource utilization which landed TPI during last 5 years has an average 0,925% level 1,234%. TAC is 29,797 tons/year, shows can still be increased get more optimal results. allowable catch must below MSY 80%. 80% MSY. This means fishermen’s optimized, but not exceed limit.
